Mr. Justin Taylor,

Frontier: Principal, SPUR: Director

Principal Taylor

Born and raised in Wyoming, I Received my undergraduate degree from the University of Wyoming. Received my Master's from Idaho State University. I have been in education since 2002. I have taught many different elementary grades and have coached for just as long. I have been in Administration since 2019.  Yes, I needed to move away for a while but Riverton offers the Wyoming life that we desire.

I was born and raised in Riverton, Wyoming. Working with students from all walks of life has been a passion of mine for the past 25+ years. I am certified to facilitate MRT, Restorative Justice and Voices Girls groups. One of my greatest strengths is problem solving. I have experience working with the Juvenile Justice systems, treatment courts, treatment facilities and DFS. When I am not at work I love to spend time with my grandchildren, travel and be near the water. Check out the Frontier Office link: Frontier Office

I have lived in the Riverton community for most of my life. I am a proud graduate of RHS and the University of Wyoming where I earned both my Bachelor and Master Degree in Social Work.  I have worked for School District #25 for 20+ years and working at Frontier is a highlight of my career.  I am at my best when I am working with people and I especially enjoy supporting our students as they complete their high school career and prepare for their next journey, whether that be trade school, military, college or as they enter the workforce.  My husband and I own a retail business downtown and  are the proud parents of our son, Cameron. In my spare time, I enjoy being outdoors, exercising and time with friends and family. I love being a member of the Frontier family!

During my 30 year career in education I’ve worked in Colorado, North Carolina, and Wyoming. During those years I taught secondary social studies, college level undergraduate and graduate courses, and practiced some administrative work. My love for learning and personal growth includes undergraduate work done at the UNCo; Masters in Teaching History at the University of Wyoming (GO POKES!); Doctorate in Education, Leadership, Administration, and Public Policy at Pepperdine; and Masters in Special Ed., Lamar University. Sponsoring student learning events such as city beautification, Highway Cleanup, and walking dogs for PAWS for Life creates connections to our town. Investing in human capital between our students and our community is so worth it! Although I've worked in urban areas, I consider Wyoming my home state, and am proud to represent the 307.

BS Degree in Agriculture Education and MA in School Administration and Supervision. I have worked in education since 2002 and enjoyed several teaching positions in alternative education, woods, drafting, and automotive technology. I enjoy exploring WY, hunting, and fishing with my family. If I am not at school, I am usually in my garage, at a ball field or on the mountains.

I graduated college and high school in Arizona.  I taught in Arizona for 3 years,  and then moved to Oregon and Washington to teach.  I began teaching in Wyoming in 1996, and followed my wife to the prison towns of Wyoming (Rawlins and Torrington).  Landing here in Riverton in 2017,  I taught at Shoshoni for 2 years and then started at RHS.  I jumped at the opportunity to transfer to Frontier Academy after hearing from several people how great the staff and students are.

Born and raised in Lander, Wyoming, I am invested in Fremont county! Raising a family here means a lot to me. After supporting clients at the State School and making patients comfortable as a dental assistant, I worked in public education in Fremont County (since 2013❤️😁). During my career, I provided student support services for students in grades 9-12. This included offering one to one student support, sponsored advisory classes, facilitated online course completion for grade-level requirements, and also held remedial support classes for high school students. While much of this work continues here at Frontier, I also organize and coach our students in health and wellness. When not at work, I love to spend time with my family, go camping, and chase my kids to their various sporting events.
