Welcome to Frontier Academy

Mission

Welcome to Frontier Academy The mission of Frontier Academy, a high school where opportunities are vast and students are able to create their path, embrace their individuality and utilize their potential, is to honor and facilitate the learning and success of each student. Project based learning, online curriculum, participation in global cultures and community engagement through service learning. are components of the educational programming at Frontier. A team of dedicated educators who are expert guides to experiential, individualized learning makeup the staff.

Culture and Climate

Students at Frontier Academy take a Climate survey each Fall and Spring as a part of our requirements through the Wyoming Accountability in Education Act. This data consistently shows that students believe that Frontier Academy staff care about them, their education, and their lives outside of school. They also believe that the staff treat them with respect, and expect students to show each other, and staff respect in return.

Media

Frontier Academy students each have access to a laptop and noise limiting headphones. When students take a course, such as Spanish, that requires speaking, they have access to headphones with a microphone to accommodate those needs.
